We are the Meerkat Class and we are so excited to be a part of KS2! 

We are taught by Mrs Reeves and helped by Mrs Salmon every morning. We are also lucky to have Miss Lee help us with our exciting Science lessons each week. There are lots of new clubs to try and lessons to learn in year three, including how to play a recorder and speak French! 

This year, we start Accelerated Reader. This means after reading our books we get to take part in quizzes and earn points. We watch our sunflower grow and we have a class chart to see how well we are doing. It can also count how many words we read, and we can earn certificates for that as well! 

Homework includes reading, spellings and POWer projects as usual, but we have Times Tables Rock Stars to complete each week as well now. We are excited to see who climbs the leader board!
